How bad was that first draft? Here are the first two paragraphs of my published draft for Securing Aisling. “Queen Brianna, are you listening to me?” I looked across the council room table directly at Reilly. “Yes, you just told me that I have until my birthday to find a husband and get married. I am aware of that. Are you aware that my birthday is almost six months away, and the Session meeting we are supposed to be discussing today is just next week? We can plan a wedding a
My book has been available in digital form since December 1, 2015, but the fact that I am now an author never felt as real to me as it did the moment I held that first hard copy in my hands. A special thanks to my sister, Tammy Jackson, who did the cover. I could not have done this without you. I know I got on your nerves more than once. I could tell there were times that you wanted to give up, but you didn't. 2015 has been hard on the both of us. Hopefully we will put it beh
Queen Brianna’s choices for a mate are quickly narrowed to the three princes of Gilvary. Today we will take a look at each of them. Let me know which one you would pick! Here is what we know about Dunbar: *He is the crown prince of Gilvary. I hope you will read it when it comes out in December.
It has been a long, hard process for me and my designer, but the cover is finallly done. I should tell you that my designer is also my sister, Tammy Jackson. She had started her photography business just before I started writing Securing Aisling. Just like with my writing, it has been a learning process for her. She really got put through the wringer with this project! I keep telling her that it will be easier next time. ;-) Thanks Tammy! You can find out more about her on he

There is Dermot in the mountains of the North. The arid Gilvary lies in the middle of Kearnley. And Aisling(pronounced Ashling) covers the Southern coast. The castle of Aisling is built into a cliff overlooking the Moya Ocean and is home to
